Val Daone fb 7a

Z Urško sva se odpeljala za 4 dni v Val daone, zakon plac,super ambient, hudi balvani tudi tisti, ki niso v vodniku.Za rest day pa sva se zapeljala do vrha doline, kjer sva si ogledala ogromen jez ter se sprehodila okoli jezera do rifugota, ki je bil na žalost zaprt.Nisva pa zato bila prikrajšana kar se razgleda tiče.
Kar se plezarije tiče Urška je fajtala do 6a, sam pa sem preplezal La legge del taglione fb 8a nekaj 7c ter 7b+ itd. Pa še nekaj fotk iz tripa:

Dejan med poizkusi Eliminator fb 7a+

V Četrtek sva se z Dejanom podal v Dovžanovo sotesko, nekaj projektov je še ostalo v strugi, enega sem zaprl ter poimenoval The Real beast fb 7b+.Zaradi upada vode pa sva očistila tudi  White Ball fb 6b+.V zgornjem delu gozda pa sva že pred časom našla kvaliteten previs v katerem so do sedaj dve liniji Deep in the forest fb 6b,ter najtežji do sedaj Eliminator fb 7a+.Projekt z delovnim imenom Centrifuga pa ostaja.
V Soboto so se nama pridružili Klančnik,Malek, ter Mrzli, Klančnik je kot prvi ponovil The Real Beast.

Trnovo ob Soči

Trnovo ob Soči The Beach

Vikend paket smo preživeli v novo nastajajočem se spotu Trnovo ob Soči kljub vročini ta vikend je ambient z vrhunskimi problemi vreden obiska, seveda se je izkoristila tudi Soča za hlajenje naših motorjev.
Ekipa je bila številčna: Dejan Kožuh, Urška Plut, Šeli z familijo ter ajdovski paket(Goba,Boškonator ter Katja).
Končno sem po Afriki spet malo potipal skalo ter ponovil nekaj res dobrih problemov:
The Beach fb 7b+(7b),  Green Beast fb 7b+(7c), Waterworld fb 7c+ ,Pingo Dreams stand start fb 6c+, Gad fb 6c+ zandnja dva je ponovil tudi Dejan.
Še se vrnemo ob prvi možni  priliki.

Novosti za sezono 2012

At the Outdoor trade fair, which took place 14th - 17th July in Friedrichshafen (Germany), the trade visitors and general public could see for the first time EGO - the new ultralight sport-climbing harness, which will be launched by Ocun in January 2012. EGO in its basic one-buckle version weights only 285 g. Ocun will offer this harness also in 3-buckle version as EGO³ and EGO³ Lady. Standard solution using continuous carrying webbing inside the waist is here altered by doubling of one webbing into two high-strength laces, which are placed more centrally and therefore it provides optimal force distribution around the body and the waist and leg parts are very comfortable. Its sophisticated design with a number of ventilation holes in the waist and leg padding makes the EGO very breathable, yet are the sandwiches sufficiently stiff and hold their form well. Upper material, which comes into contact with the body, is of high quality, scratch-resistant artificial leather from polyester microfiber. This material is used mainly for seats in sport cars. It is comfortable, durable, easy to maintain. Ocun is the first who is coming with this solution.

Regarding crashpads, Ocun boasted a new PADDY INCUBATOR, which is with its area of over 2 m2  (2,1 x 1 m) a real giant among crashpads. Three-piece construction with 2 bent parts and 1 folding of the INCUBATOR provides the possibility of a compact package.

Ocún can be justly proud of the innovated PADDY DOMINATOR filled with a new solution FTS Absorption Block. It is an absorbing block of completely new and original design, which brings the same damping properties to the whole area of the crashpad, including the edges. This solution also reduces significantly the weight. DOMINATOR can be opened in two ways with dimensions 1 x 1,32 m or 2 x 0,66 m and 14 cm height, weights only 5,5 kg. DOMINATOR crashpad is intended for the most demanding boulderists, especially recommended for highballs.

Ocún adds also PADDY SUNDANCE into its collection. Economy crashpad designed for easy bouldering. In addition to the design facelift, Ocun applied number of innovative and functional elements on its crashpads like the new practical hook buckles, new multipurpose fixation loops for open position lock, side multipurpose loops, which can be used for carrying or as fixation loops (on the ground, attaching one crashpad to another) or also as gear loops.

NEWS from Rock Pillars for the next season

News from Outdoor trade fair 2011: Rock Pillars introduced at this year´s Outdoor 2 new climbing shoe models. The Rock Pillars stand was very busy.

Strictly looking REBEL, provoking with its white and black colour combination, is enjoying considerable interest. REBEL is a middle class model, aimed at wide spectrum of climbers, ranging from sport ambition to leisure use. REBEL will be available with laces or in a Quick closure variation. The development of REBEL is based on a successful model – Ozone. REBEL is built on the same last, has slightly down-toed sole and perfectly fitting heel. Relaxed, higher forefoot offeres comfort also to wider feet. Front rand-rubber system covers the big toe and the whole upper, preventing the damage. Sole is made of tested compound Grippin EDGE, back part of the sole is molded with attractive tire design.

Another novelty in Rock Pillars product range is a lady climbing shoe model - attractive, elegant and comfortable PEARL LADY QC. By this shoe Rock Pillars have been concentrated not only on anatomical specifications of lady feet, but also on design. It is a performance model from synthetic leather, which is very comfortable. Due to its construction is the climbing shoe precise and Grippin EDGE sole makes it superior on edges and tiny footholds. Down-toed front is suitable to overhangs and small pockets. Practical quick closure system makes the shoes even more suitable for bouldering and short sport routes. PEARL LADY QC as well as the white-black REBEL will be available from January 2012.
